Upgrading from Dentrix 11 to G4 sometimes you will get a error stating that the update 6 has not be loaded this is a known error that Dentrix knows about.

How to fix it.

1.) In the Local Dentrix folder find tutor 6 folder rename to temp.

2.) Then find the EP in the same folder this would normally point to the data folder on the server you want to change it to point to the temp folder you just created on the local machine.  c:\dentrix\temp

3.) Next step is to install the updates manually from the server. All updates are located in the Dentrix\data\install\G4 start with 7 if you had the 6 done but couldn't get past it.

4.) After all the updates are done then run the EP again and point back to the data folder on the server.

Then you are done.
